"That Guy" Eyewear  began in 2010 as a strictly wholesale optical laboratory.  In 2014 we decided to enter the retail side of the business and opened our first retail outlet in Sacramento, California in the Uptown Arts District.  In this location we feature an on - site optical laboratory for your convenience, and can usually turn around work in roughly half the time as Costco or Wal Mart. Our frame selection is unique because we work with importers to acquire close outs and over runs at a great savings and we pass this on to our valued customers.  We also scour the world for rare vintage frames and we even carry gently used frames from National Optometric Affiliates that we refurbish.  So we have frames as low as $25 and, except for rare vintage frames, we carry little inventory over $200.  Because of how we acquire frames our inventory is constantly changing and in most cases cannot be reordered, so always check back to see what's new.  And of course, we are the original purveyors of "Hekaspecs".  Check our lens price list page; you will find we are competitive with any optical retailer in the area. Folks come from all over the Sacramento Metro region and as far away as Chico and S. Lake Tahoe to shop "That Guy"  Unique styles.
